Q1: What software do you use & what type of files can you accept?
All mold designs are firstly done in 2D AutoCAD for your review. Once the 2D design has been approved we will do a complete 3D mold design in Uni-graphics.
With our CAD systems we can accept following files:
STP, IGS, DXF, DWG, Cad Key PPT, STL, X_T, CATIA, UG files, etc.

Q2: How soon can we get a quotation?
We normally forward quotation within one day after your RFQs. For big package, it takes longer time but no later than 2days after receiving RFQs.

Q3: How many staff in your company?
We have 160 employees, including Administration stuff 10; Mould Department 130; Injection Department 20.

Q4: How is your mould capacity?
We can make moulds from 50-1000 ton injection machine, and we can build 30 medium size tools per month on average.

Q5: How about the mold make lead time ?
It depends on the mold size and complexity. Normally it takes 5 weeks T1 for a medium size tool.

Q6: What kind of molds do you mainly make?
We make molds mainly for automotive parts, home appliances, electronic parts and medical equipment.

Q7: Do you build hot runner plastic moulds?
Yes. We build hot runner plastic moulds and specialize in many different systems, such as DME, Synventive, Hasco, Yudo, Incoe, Husky,etc. The manifold recommended for your tool to meet your individual needs.

Q8: What components are used in the tool build and will we be able to get replacement parts in the U.S.?
We can use any type of steel appointed by customer or popular in the market, such as P20, 718, 8407, NAK80, H13, S136, DIN 1.2738, DIN 1.2344, etc. We purchase DME or HASCO standard components. All bolts and other wear items are in standard for ease of maintenance.

Q9: We are specialized in producing plastic products with the following materials:
PP, ABS, PC, POM, PA, HDPE, HIPE, PS, AS, PBT, PET, PMMA, PVC and so on.

Q10: Who will be our contact during the tool build?
Once you have placed a purchase order, in addition to the service by Sales Representative, Create Mold will assign a Project Engineer to manage the project. Once assigned, he/she will contact you to verify part design and tooling specifications. He/She will communicate with you on tool design, engineering changes and will supply you with weekly progress reports and periodic statement photos. It is both the Project Engineer & the Sales Representative who will be responsible for all communications.

Q11: Where does the tool sampled?
We sample all tools in China prior to shipment. The tools will be run under production conditions for a minimum of two hours. We will choose random samples during the run and provide complete first article inspection reports to you alone with the sample parts. These samples are shipped to you via air for your approval. Once the samples are approved we will then prepare the tools for shipments.

Q12: How do you pack the china plastic moulds?plastic injection mold packaging
We pack the plastic moulds with wooden box.
There are the main 3 operation steps.
First Step: We daub some rust preventive oil on the mold.
Second step: We pack the mold with thin plastic film to avoid moisture.
Third step: We put this plastic film packed mold in a wooden box, and fix it avoid any movement.

Q13: Can you deliver the plastic moulds or plastic products to our factory?
Yes, We have cooperated with many international logistics companies for years. We can do any trade term you prefer, for example FOB, CIF, DDU, DDP, etc. And we have full experience to manage the delivery to the client's factory or appointed warehouse.

Q14: What about warranty?
Should there be a problem with one of our tools we will work with a shop of your choice to get you up and running as soon as possible, at our expense. All P-20 tools are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 500,000 cycles or a period of one year. H-13 tools are warranted for 1,000,000 cycles or one year.

Q15: Can we visit your facilities?
Yes, we encourage you to do so at any time. And we will Create Mold accommodate your visit and will assist with any transportation arrangements.
